apeXis an Australian Xbox360 multi-gaming organisation. We are an online clan, with the aim of raising the profile of competitive cyber-gaming, and, erm, winning.
Our teams, which can be viewed on the Roster page, compete in the two premier Australian competitions - GotGames and CyberGamer. Our initial team has had much success in the Call of Duty 4 leagues, and hopes to continue this winning pattern into the future.
Newer teams, such as our COD5 team, have also been dominant in their leagues. While apeX was still playing on the CyberGamer ladders, apeX was the number one team for both Call of Duty 4 and 5.
Our teams hope that they will be successful in the upcoming GotGames seasons - with a high seeding position, and competitive teams, there is a significant chance that prize money will be won.
The History of Apex:
apeX started life in January 2008 as a squad within Velocity, nicknamed vB (for a hard earned thirst). The team then split from the controversial Velocity, and formed its own unit called Protocol. Protocol was highly successful, and won many competitions, and was the team to beat. More recently, the members of the clan decided to change the name to apeX, which they believed reflected the professional nature of the team in a better way. Thus, apeX was born.
Importantly, apeX as a team has been around for over a year and a half - easily in the same league as 1sk and KL clans.
